Alumni network

At the end of 2012 the project counts a total of 60 alumni from 11 countries of the ICGLR. The alumni actively exchange views on Great Lakes regional issues through online platform and newsletter.

 Furthermore, the alumni become active in their countries. In 2012 the alumni groups of Burundi and the DRC organized each a public event. In Burundi the alumni group hosted a conference on Fundraising. In the DRC the alumni group hosted a panel discussion on the implementation of the ICGLR Pact and domestication challenges for the DRC.


The Graduate Institute

The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies is an institution of research and higher education dedicated to the cross-cutting fields of international relations and development studies. 

The Graduate Institute Executive Education Department benefits from a long experience in training civil servants from all over the world. The Institute has been training government officials since the 1970s. Over the past 30 years the Institute developed and implemented training courses for government officials with participants from more than 30 countries on all five continents.
