  • Entry testing Fees at 100 USD (foreigners), 30$ in BIF for Burundians- For Exit: Test certificate from MOH @ 60.000FBU. Student & Refugees coming back to Burundi are exempted. 
  • As of now:NOquarantinefor newcomers and free testing for inhabitants of Bujumbura City.
  • Terrestrial borders (eg. Gatumba) opened/June 1st 2021- EntryTest payment 30$ (foreigners) 15K BIF Burundians
  • Burundian Government seems to be now opened to receiving Vaccines

  • The new COVID19 Delta variant has been found to be 30 - 60% more transmissible than other variants. However, there is noevidence that available vaccines are less effective against it.
