Bujumbura, 3 September 2026 – The Secretariat of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) welcomes the launch of the initiative to facilitate a Sudanese – Sudanese dialogue within Sudan, under the supervision of an independent committee of Sudanese elders announced on August 30, 2026.
