- INTRODUCTION
The International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) is an intergovernmental organization composed of 12 Member States of the Greater Great Lakes Region, which was established in 2006 with the assistance of the African Union (AU), the United Nations (UN) and bilateral donors. The Member States of the ICGLR are Angola, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
