ICGLR Data Standard — clean, normative specification.

Purpose #

Establish a normative, technology-agnostic data model covering entities, attributes, cardinalities, data types, and code lists for mine sites, export certificates, and related records.

  • Define primary and secondary entities and their relationships.
  • Standardize attribute names, cardinalities, and semantic data types.
  • Constrain codes and identifiers to internationally recognized standards.
  • Enable interoperable data exchange between Member States and ICGLR.

  • Secondary entitiesLicense (MD.02), Business Entity (MD.04), Address (MD.05), Geolocalization (MD.06), Inspection (MD.07), Mine Site Location (MD.08), Contact Details (MD.09), Status History (MD.10).
  • Code listsCertification Status (MDC.01), Mining Activity Status (MDC.02), Mineral (MDC.03), License Type (MDC.04).
  • Conventions: identifiers, date formats, country and subdivision codes, and units of measure.
