ICGLR Data Standard — clean, normative specification.
Responsibilities #
- Maintain the standard and publish controlled updates.
- Provide access policy and versioning.
- Validate conformance of implemented data structures against this specification.
National Usage #
- Member States may define national usage specifications (e.g., field length limits, file size limits) without altering core semantics.
- Extensions may add entities/attributes for national needs; extensions must not modify or contradict the core model.
- Implementations must preserve interoperability with the core code lists and data types.
Conformance #
- Data exchanged must validate against entity attribute sets, cardinalities, data types, and code lists defined herein.
- Identifiers, dates, and codes must use the prescribed formats (ISO 3166-1, ISO 8601, UN/ECE Rec. 20, IMA codes).
